Nov. 18, 2016 USM PROMISE AGEP Fall Harvest Dinner & Networking Reception

The 2016 PROMISE Fall Harvest Dinner for graduate students and postdocs at schools within the University System of Maryland will be held Friday, November 18, 2016, at  5:00 PM.

Location:

University of Maryland College Park

Stamp Student Union

Stamp Colony Ballroom 2203

This dinner will allow you to connect with graduate students and postdocs who are in your field, allowing you to build collaborative relationships, connections, and expand your network. You may bring a guest to this event. PROMISE wants you to include your support network in events. 

This event is free. Please bring your ticket with you, and your university ID.

Each attendee, including your guest, must have a ticket.

This event will include a short program with a welcome from the hosts at College Park.

  • 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Arrival & Seating
  • 6:00 PM: Welcome Remarks
    • (Hosted by the PROMISE Leaders at College Park)
  • 6:30 PM – 7:00 PM: Remarks from SREB Remarks
  • 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Networking Reception
  • 8:00 PM: Closing Remarks
TRANSPORTATION: 
If attend any school in the Baltimore area or live near Baltimore, UMBC will be providing free transportation from UMBC to UMCP. If you would like to be on the bus, please email promisestaff@gmail.com with the subject title “Bus Fall Harvest” by November 11, 2016 at 11:59 pm. Please include in the email: your name, your university, and your cell phone number.
The bus will be departing the UMBC Commons Circle Drive Loop at 4:00 PM and will be departing from University of Maryland, College Park at 8:00 PM, and will arrive back to the UMBC campus between 8:30 PM – 9:00 PM.
